I am in uni working on a big essay-type project. Three pages after my last save, my computer reboots. No warning. I'm just going to copy an image and put it into my paper and .. nothing. As I wonder what's going on, the start-up screen comes on.
I hate PCs. I hate them, I hate them.
That is all.

Getting the hang of this posting thing.
Well for today, I didn't do a whole lot of what I should have done...
I did doodle a bit.
Character design for one of my enemies - Big Mouth - and a colour palette that I didn't really adhere to.

Sort of on time with this post.
A handful of images today. Mostly pen drawings. I like pen drawings.
The first sketch for my Bomb-Head character. I've modified it somewhat for a card for Thursdays' lessons. I'll post that the next time I'm on.
Post-Apocalyptic bloke. I may have posted this before, but I won't know until I hit the send button on this post.
The Monkey. My first nearly-all-my-work-with-no-help 3D model in Maya. Next time I'm hoping to cut down the help to but a few reminders.

A few things from the past few weeks... It's about time I tell you all again that I'm going to try and keep up to date with my posts. This time I've got the excuse/helpful idea that since I'm on the computer at least three days a week, I can use one of these days to show y'all a little bit of what I'm doing.
First Maya 'doodle'. A nice, big cartoony gun. I like it. I don't like Maya.

Today's work. I am very happy with this. A big thanks to Thom Rosell for all the help he gave me. I wanted to get it textures by the end of the day. An hour and forty minutes after the end of the day, I was finished.
And a mock-up of a card for the same game as the bomb-head character. The card's title: Big Gun.
That's about it for today. I'll have some more things next week. Sometime.
Bless.

Finally have the internet again.
Sorry for the delay. Now that I have the internet, I've started back at uni. At least here I'm on a computer and can update at least sporadically.
Here are two wallpapers I threw together yesterday for the entertainment of myself. Borrowed influences from my ref folder.

Tired robot. I'll experiment with textures at some point.
I've got to get to work... Thanks for sticking around.

More painting - final pieces.

Life Drawing final - 3 part narrative.
My three-part narrative for Life Drawing. I drew myself falling out of a tree.
Reaching.
At first, I had the full-figure picture as the second in the series, but after talking with my lecturer, we decided that the order that they're in now makes more sense, as the figure gets gradually smaller as the series goes on. It zooms out, if you will.
There are a few more pictures that I've taken of pieces I've done this year, but I'll post them in another post another time.

Doodles. Academic year '09 - '10. A few of them, anyway.
Doodles from various sketchbooks from various times of the past 8 months or so. Various.
Robot things and references for an illustration project.
Another doodle based off an illustration project. I decided to try and make a cartoon out of myself. This is what I came up with.
Goatboy. Or Goat Boy. This idea was based off a drawing I saw on some art sub-forums I post on every now and then.
Idea for different Juan dolls. I'm aiming to make every one of these and maybe more as I go. Who knows?
Fish. Most of what I doodle speaks for itself because there is really not that much more thought behind it before I do it.
Lightning and people pointing. If I remember correctly, the point pose came from a splat on a window or something.
Doodles based off some more sculpture. I made little wire men and I had the idea of gluing insect wings to them. I started drawing off that idea and came up with these pages.
So there are a few doodles from the year. I'm still going. I've got a lot of work to do at the moment, but when I'm not drawing, I love doodling. I hope you've enjoyed that torrent of images. I'll try (again) to keep on top of things here.
Have a nice day.
